About the role

We are looking for a People Engagement Officer to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation at an exciting period of growth and transformation. • Lead the employee engagement survey process, forums, focus groups, and other feedback channels, translating insight into clear, practical action plans
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure actions are owned, delivered, and followed through
  • Support site and functional leaders to turn organisation-wide themes into meaningful local plans
  • Coordinate people communications, including the HR newsletter, ensuring messages are clear, timely, and accessible to all colleagues
  • Maintain the employee engagement calendar, connecting events and initiatives to the organisation's wider strategy, culture, and values
  • Support the people side of transformation and change initiatives, contributing to the Transformation Working Group
  • Help embed culture and values into People processes, bringing an employee experience lens to process design
  • Spot practical opportunities to reinforce culture through communications, leadership routines, and everyday people activity

Requirements

Your experience could be in HR, employee engagement, people communications, organisational transformation, project management, culture, or employee experience.

  • Strong ability to turn qualitative employee feedback and insight into clear themes and practical actions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to make complex or sensitive topics feel human and accessible
  • Experience supporting change initiatives from a people, communications, or adoption perspective
  • Strong project management discipline with the ability to bring structure without over-complicating things
  • Good understanding of how People processes shape employee experience, culture, and behaviour
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for technology, as many of the changes you will support will have both people and technology implications

Due to the uniqueness of this role, your qualifications could be in CIPD, internal communications, change management, or organisational development, though practical experience and judgement will be valued above all.
