Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Hiring:
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from job posting through to hire
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for final selection
- Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and support timely staffing
- Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records in recruitment system (SmartRecruiters)
- Pre-Hire and Onboarding:
- Manage the pre-hire process including background checks, offers and system entry
- Coordinate and support new hire orientation, ensuring a welcoming and organized first day experience
- Serve as point of contact for candidates and new hires throughout the onboarding
- Internal Mobility Support:
- Support employees through internal and temporary transfer program
- Provide clear guidance on eligibility, timeliness and application steps
- Maintain accurate tracking and documentation
- System, Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain recruitment systems and ensure data accuracy
- Support reporting on recruitment, turnover and hiring activity
- Ensure processes align with company standards, policies and applicable laws
- Utilize recruitment and assessment platforms effectively, supporting hiring managers as needed
- Ensure that all administration of recruitment and retention standards are met in alignment with Brand Standards
- Employer Branding & Community Engagement:
- Support recruitment marketing efforts through social media and community outreach
- Assist in promoting the hotel as an employer of choice
- Participate in job fairs, school partnerships and local recruitment initiatives
- General People & Culture Support:
- Provide administrative support across People and Culture functions as needed
- Respond to employee and candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Support engagement initiatives and participate in hotel committees
Pay
Hourly rate: $32.49
Schedule
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruitment or administrative support preferred
- Prior hospitality experience is desirable
- Previous experience in Talent Acquisition a strong asset
- Experience supporting high volume or fast paced environments a plus
- Comfortable working with systems and technology (experience with ATS platforms such as SmartRecruiters preferred)
- Degree in Human Resources or previous experience in People & Culture (Human Resources) is an asset
