About the role

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised People & Culture Coordinator to join our collaborative People & Culture team and help deliver an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the HR Business Partners, providing exceptional support to employees and managers with day-to-day queries
- Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, promotions, transfers, contract changes and offboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records, employment contracts and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality
- Aid with employee enquiries and provide exceptional first-level HR support
- Coordinate learning and development activities, inductions and training programs
- Assist with performance review administration and reporting
- Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics and data analysis
- Support payroll administration by assisting with employee changes and payroll-related enquiries
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and internal procedures
- Aid in delivering internal communications, employee engagement initiatives and company events
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and People & Culture projects
About You
- You're an organised, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- You pride yourself on providing exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
- You'll also bring: Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruitment or Compliance Administration
- A genuine passion for People & Culture and employee experience
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Experience using HRIS, recruitment or payroll systems (highly regarded)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- A Certificate III (or higher) in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable)
- Experience within transport, aviation or logistics is advantageous but not essential
