People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

Ascentec Engineering is hiring a People Operations Coordinator who will support the People & Culture team by assisting with daily people operations activities and ensuring efficient processes, data accuracy, and positive employee experiences throughout the employee’s lifecycle. Key areas include onboarding coordination, employee data management, HR reporting, offboarding, events planning, and general HR support. This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin and Dallas, Oregon locations. The Coordinator will be expected to travel to our Dallas location 2-3 days a week. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and facilitation of weekly new-hire orientation as needed to deliver a consistent and engaging onboarding experience.
• Manage onboarding tasks after offer acceptance, coordinating I-9 verification and E-Verify, and assigning and completing all onboarding paperwork in Paylocity.
