About the Opportunity

The People Business Partner Leader will step into a highly visible, elite executive-level human resources leadership role, serving as the primary strategic talent advisor to multiple C-suite executives. This position is responsible for leading a sophisticated, geographically distributed team of HR professionals dedicated to supporting global technical leadership. Operating within a fast-paced, fully remote, and deeply technical culture, the leader will translate high-level business priorities into comprehensive global talent strategies that catalyze organizational growth, optimize engineering performance, drive structural change management, and embed highly scalable, modern people practices.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal, high-touch strategic People Partner to C-level executives and their senior leadership groups, co-authoring and executing far-reaching global talent strategies
  • Lead complex organizational design (OD), long-range workforce planning, and cross-functional change management initiatives tailored to support shifting business realities
  • Deliver dedicated, specialized HR counsel to global engineering and product divisions, maintaining a deep understanding of unique tech-stack challenges and developer operational pressures (including on-call architectures)
  • Spearhead comprehensive talent reviews, rigorous succession planning, and the systemic development of the organization's executive leadership pipeline
  • Harness advanced data analytics and predictive people metrics to regularly inform executive leadership regarding overall organizational health, retention risks, and strategic workforce alignment
  • Provide confidential, high-impact performance coaching and leadership counsel to executives navigating complex management and structural organizational challenges
  • Partner dynamically with Centers of Excellence—including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and People Operations—to deploy seamless global HR initiatives
  • Provide direct line management, strategic mentorship, and career development to cultivate a world-class, high-performing team of People Business Partners

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading comprehensive, large-scale people strategy and organizational restructuring during periods of rapid corporate evolution, including navigating AI-driven workflow shifts
  • Exceptional cross-functional capability to synchronize talent and operational priorities seamlessly across Product, Engineering, Finance, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition in a global corporate environment
  • A proven track record of successfully building, scaling, and upskilling a highly impactful, consultative People Business Partner team within a tech or software-as-a-service (SaaS) enterprise
  • Commanding executive presence and superior communication clarity, showing the confidence and psychological safety required to advise senior C-suite leaders through highly complex, ambiguous organizational situations
  • Profound leadership acumen navigating cultural nuances and operational logistics across disparate time zones within a matrixed, fully remote-first workplace culture

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Target baseline salary framework: $184,800 to $380,400 USD annually (for United States-based candidates). Final base salary determination within this extensive, highly competitive band is calibrated dynamically and transparently according to the candidate's executive HR tenure, technical industry depth, and localized geographic jurisdiction.
