Jetson is a company dedicated to accelerating the transition of 100 million homes in North America to sustainable energy use. Our focus is on heat pumps and other home electrification solutions, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and make clean energy accessible and affordable.

Opportunity

Jetson is expanding rapidly, with Denver serving as the hub for innovation and testing of new programs and products. This role is crucial for supporting a dynamic and growing hourly workforce, requiring a builder's mindset and a deep understanding of labor laws and employee relations.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with field operations leaders to identify areas for improvement and ensure the workforce is thriving.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Colorado labor and employment laws, ensuring compliance and fairness.
  • Design and implement programs that align with Jetson's values and foster a positive work culture.
  • Support recruiting efforts, onboarding processes, and performance management for hourly employees.
  • Work closely with frontline supervisors and managers to address employee relations issues and enhance leadership skills.
  • Track key metrics and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead investigations and mediate workplace disputes with sensitivity and professionalism.

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR business partner, people operations, or employee relations roles, particularly with hourly and non-exempt workforces.
  • Deep expertise in Colorado employment laws, including HELP Rules, FAMLI, HFWA, and local ordinances.
  • Able to earn trust with hourly employees and translate complex policies into practical guidance.
  • Strong communication skills, able to tailor messages to different audiences and convey information clearly and concisely.
  • A builder's mindset, excited about creating systems that work for the people doing the work.
  • Experience with modern tools and technologies, including AI, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

$95,000 - $105,000 per annum
