As an important part of the People Team, People Operations ensures that every Roblox employee has a great experience. This includes defining and driving core HR business programs, capturing comprehensive employment data, providing resources that detail HR practices, and resolving employees' specific HR questions as they arise. We pride ourselves on achieving operational excellence across every service we provide by optimizing HR business processes, guaranteeing HR data integrity, and using that information to inform downstream processes and data-driven insights.
You will report to the Director, People Business Operations. This role is based at Roblox HQ in San Mateo, CA.
Responsibilities
- Support Roblox managers and employees, including responding to their general process and policy questions and providing guidance on how to navigate specific employee situations.
- Assist managers with handling and resolving employee performance cases, accommodation requests, and employee-impacting reorganizations.
- Own elements of HR service delivery and drive operational excellence through effective teamwork, robust data analysis, and optimal process design.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with partners across the People team as well as Employee Relations, Legal, People Analytics, and other key collaborators.
- Demonstrate the highest standard of confidentiality and build trusted, productive relationships with stakeholders through proactive, crisp, and empathetic communications.
- Effectively utilize HR systems and reporting tools, maintaining data accuracy and integrity and conducting periodic strategic analysis to identify trends and inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employees outside of the US (preferred).

- Adept at owning and optimizing HR processes and programs, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

- An exceptional and highly responsive communicator who is able to convey sensitive messages with clarity, empathy, and tact.
Pay
For roles based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is $13,500–$17,163.33 USD per month. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Schedule
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.
