About the role

The People & Learning Partner at SSR Mining Inc. integrates HR partnership with deep expertise in learning and development to strengthen organizational capability. This role evaluates, designs, and delivers high-impact training programs; drives continuous improvement; manages employee leave programs; and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing training programs to ensure effectiveness, alignment with company standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess the quality and effectiveness of training measurement and assessment tools.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement of training programs across all supported business areas.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to trainers to elevate instructional quality and consistency.
  • Develop and facilitate train the trainer programs to strengthen internal training capability.
  • Facilitate leadership development sessions for emerging and established leaders.
  • Identify and assess continuous improvement opportunities and recommend learning solutions that support operational and strategic goals.
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on training and e-learning participation, performance, and compliance trends.
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) operations, including course updates, assignments, auditing, and reporting.
  • Oversee onsite implementation of global development programs to ensure alignment with organizational capability needs and development pathways.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or training; 3+ years of supervisory or project leadership experience.
  • Experience in operational/industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong instructional design expertise and proven adult-learning skills, including curriculum design and facilitation.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems. Experience with Workday preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve learning programs and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership development.
  • Exceptional communication and consultative skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$110,000.

Schedule

This is a site-based position at the Cripple Creek & Victor (CC&V) Mine, located in a high-altitude environment (above 8,000 feet).

Working Conditions & Environment

Based at the mining site, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rugged terrain.
