Responsibilities

  • Monitor street parking, parking lots, and parking structures to identify illegally and improperly parked cars and write tickets for parking violations.
  • Enforce parking regulations in an assigned area while driving a parking enforcement car, riding a bicycle, or walking on foot.
  • Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinances.
  • Write warnings and citations for illegally or improperly parked vehicles.
  • Observe and report hazardous conditions such as missing traffic signals or signs, and street markings that need to be repainted.
  • Respond to and resolve abandoned vehicle issues.
  • Set up and remove barricades and temporary signs.
  • Conduct security checks of parking facilities.
  • Train new or temporary staff in the technical aspects of the position.
  • Maintain and care for all company-issued equipment.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Flexible schedule.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • At least 19 years old.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving history.
