Location: Plano, TX / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote; local candidates only)
About the role
12-month contract position. The Senior Pega Developer will design, develop, and support complex Pega CLM solutions. Lead implementation of Trigger-Based Refresh and modernization activities. Develop integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and external services. Drive application performance optimization, resiliency, and security improvements. Implement Pega best practices, guardrail compliance, and reusable framework components. Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams. Partner with business, QA, platform, and vendor teams to accelerate solution delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale Pega CLM applications
- Lead Trigger-Based Refresh and modernization initiatives
- Build integrations with internal and external systems via REST APIs, SQL, XML, and EAI
- Optimize performance, resiliency, and security of large-scale Pega applications
- Enforce Pega best practices, guardrails, and reusable framework components
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams
- Troubleshoot and tune Pega applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience
- Strong expertise in Pega CLM, Case Management, Flows, and Integrations
- Experience with Java, REST APIs, SQL, XML, and Enterprise Application Integration
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Financial Services / AML / KYC domain experience
- Experience with Pega Constellation, Blueprint, and GenAI capabilities
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA)
- PostgreSQL experience
