PEGA Developer/Technical Lead

About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a PEGA Developer/Technical Lead to join our Pega digital practice in Jersey City, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be hands-on, and ready to lead Pega projects, working closely with senior system architecture teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and integration strategy for Pega Application implementation, aligning with transformational initiatives.
• Formulate overall data strategy based on client’s business needs and enterprise strategy.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to Certified System Architects (CSAs).
• Drive best practices and thought leadership for Pega methodology.
• Ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals.
• Identify and quantify the scope and impact of business requirements on systems.
• Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders.
• Incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs for scalable and performing solutions.
• Provide strategic thinking, solutions, and roadmaps while ensuring adherence to standards.
• Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision-making.
• Review and mentor both Development and Business Architect teams.
• Develop innovative approaches to complex assignments.
• Research and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems.
• Forecast and plan resource requirements.
• Lead and motivate team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing applications using Pega.
• 2+ years of experience developing Pega applications using Constellation.
• Proven communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders.
• Exposure to product development practices and methodologies.
• Ability to lead end-to-end delivery of Pega PRPC-based solutions.
• Strong skills in process optimization and streamlining for client business processes.
• Excellent knowledge of Pega PRPC Enterprise class structure design and application profiling.
• Strong understanding of Pega PRPC concepts (Activities, Functions, Data Transforms, Authentication Service, Reporting, Agents, Ruleset Management).
• Experience with multi-language and localization of application interfaces.
• Experience with UI framework, creating skins, email listeners, and routing email via workbaskets.
• Experience with SSO integration and security privileges access roles.
• Experience with RDA and RPA Pega solutions.
• Expertise in object-oriented design and implementation.
• Expertise in integration approaches (micro services, messaging, queuing, API patterns).
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and virtual team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Exposure to HealthCare, Insurance, airlines, travel, and hospitality sectors is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with React JS.
• Knowledge of Latest Pega Capabilities, Pega Express Methodology, and UML diagrams.
• Experience with requirement management tools like JIRA and DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
• Experience in Manufacturing and Life Science industries.

Pay

The starting pay range for this role is $128,208.00 to $192,312.00. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as work location, experience, and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
