About the role
Location: NYC, NY (Onsite work – 5 Days). Contract: 12+ Months with possible extension. Interview L1 slots are available this week.
Responsibilities
- Focus on performance and load testing.
- Strong experience with MariaDB and MySQL.
- Analyze and tune database behavior under load (query/index optimization, lock and replication‑lag analysis).
- Monitor DB saturation (connections, IOPS, buffer pool).
- Pinpoint database bottlenecks and advise on scaling (instance upgrades, schema separation, sharding, etc.).
