Peer Support Specialist
About the role
The Peer Support Specialist provides peer support, information, and advocacy to individuals diagnosed with a serious and persistent relevant illness, in order to assist them in regaining control over their own lives and recovery process and integrating into the community. They engage with patients hospitalized at UHS Hospitals.
Primary Department, Division, Or Unit: UHS New Horizons Outpatient Addiction Medicine. Primary Work Shift: Day Rotational. Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent (minimum required)
- Peer Support Specialist Certification (minimum required)

Preferred experience is not applicable, but compensation range is $17.98 - $25.17 per hour, depending on experience.
