What You'll Do
- Help clients move toward healthier mental and physical well-being through recovery-oriented, person- and family-centered support.
- Strengthen engagement in behavioral health services and connect individuals to coordinated care.
- Individualized health coaching;
- Co-facilitating groups/classes;
- Supporting informed, healthy decision-making;
- Collaborating with behavioral health professionals and Case Managers;
- Participating in treatment planning and team meetings;
- Maintaining timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Required Qualifications/skills
- Peer Support certification at time of employment
- High school diploma/GED; personal history as a consumer of mental health and/or substance use disorder
- Valid Nevada driver's license, proof of insurance, clean driving record/DMV report
- Ability to respond to varied client needs; physical stamina for bending, lifting, and prolonged standing
- Obtain First Aid and infant/adult CPR within 3 months and maintain
