Make a Difference Through Lived Experience Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Charlotte, NC. This is an opportunity to use your lived experience and recovery journey to help individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use challenges build stability, independence, and meaningful connections in the community. As part of a multidisciplinary ACTT team, you’ll work alongside clinicians, nurses, case managers, and other behavioral health professionals to provide practical, recovery-focused support where clients live, work, and spend their time.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACTT) is a community-based, high-intensity behavioral health service for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The team provides comprehensive support designed to promote recovery, reduce psychiatric hospitalization, and help clients achieve greater stability and independence. Services may address mental health, substance use, housing, employment, transportation, social connections, and other daily living needs
