Peer Support Specialist

Role: Peer Support Specialist – SUDS, supporting adults in recovery from substance use disorders. Responsibilities Mentor clients by drawing on personal lived experience and stable recovery to foster wellness.Model healthy behaviors and assist clients in navigating treatment options and community resources.Facilitate group sessions and support the development of crisis and safety plans.Document services provided and collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications & Skills Experience with substance use disorder recovery and lived experience preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support and motivate clients.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, client-centered environment.
