Peer Support - Part Time - York/Adams
Job Description
Certified Peer Specialists are trained to provide recovery-oriented services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges by instilling hope for recovery. Certified Peer Specialists use skills to teach peers how to self-advocate and to promote empowerment so that they can do these things on their own.
The ideal candidate is someone who can be empathetic and compassionate to individuals struggling in their mental health recovery. Peer Support is built on using your own life experience to help clients achieve the goals they have for themselves.
This position would be serving Adults and the Youth and Young adult population of 14 and older.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
- Certified Peer Specialist Certification in PA is required

Pay
Pay Rate starts at $14.28 and increases with experience.
