Peer Specialist - Urgent Care Mental Health

Responsibilities

• Initiate documentation for new program consumers
• Welcome clients and orient them to the program
• Escort consumers to community-based appointments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the mental health field
• In addition to BA/BS degree, must also possess experience as a consumer of mental health services and demonstrate volunteer or paid experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
• Valid Driver's License in good standing

• Experience as a consumer of mental health services
• Paid or volunteer experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
• Pre-employment drug screening required

Schedule

Full-time; 40 hours; Monday - Friday with one evening shift per week 11:30AM to 8:00PM; Saturday 8:30AM-5:00PM (Saturday is rotating shift and is worked in lieu of working a weekday shift.)

Pay

$19.25/hr.
