New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast, serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, a 24-hour help line, mobile response team, and outpatient programs across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie counties. We also assist 22,000 students in area schools and collaborate with courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to improve individual health and community quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Provides peer support services either in-office or in the community for an assigned group of clients, monitoring the activities of Care Coordination for high-utilizing clients of New Horizons services.
- Assists the Care Coordination Team with activities for assigned clients.
- Prepares written documentation for each service conducted.
- Provides transportation to consumers as needed.
Requirements
- Certified as a Peer Specialist or in the process of certification (preferred).
- Valid and current Florida Driver’s License with no more than 6 points in the past 6 years.
- Must pass a Level 2 Background check through DCF and AHCA Clearinghouse.
