Peer Recovery Support Specialist - Manteno - 2nd shift

Job Description

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Essential Duties

• Conduct recovery oriented and educational groups under the direction of the Program Manager
• Engage patients in treatment through motivational interviewing and motivational enhancement techniques
• Absorb and communicate with the treatment team regarding patient attendance, participation and any barriers or needs to support treatment involvement

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday (2:30p - 11:00p) with flexibility to accommodate agency's need
