Pay

$48,486.00 – $61,464.00/year, with potential growth to $77,722.00/year

Responsibilities

• Provide peer recovery support services to individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders
• Assist clients in developing and implementing individualized recovery plans
• Facilitate peer support groups and educational workshops
• Connect clients with community resources and treatment services
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care
• Advocate for clients’ needs and rights within the healthcare system
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification

Requirements

• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist in Maryland (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Personal lived experience with substance use and/or mental health recovery
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of local community resources and treatment options
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
