Peer Recovery Specialist

About the role

The Santé Group is seeking Part-Time Peer Recovery Specialists (overnights) to join their Carroll County Crisis Response Team in Westminster, MD. This position provides mobile crisis services, peer support, and collaborates with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Self-identify as a Peer and provide peer support to consumers and families.
• Aid in performing on-scene assessments, including danger, suicide, and environmental assessments.
• Perform crisis intervention and stabilization, including de-escalation, crisis planning, and implementation.
• Create appropriate referral recommendations and develop treatment plans using available agency and community resources.
• Partner with local law enforcement and other community providers.
• Complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as appropriate federal, state, and county regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of related experience.
• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or willing to be certified within a one (1) year of employment (Sante will pay for your certification if you do not have it at the time of hire).
• At least two (2) years in full recovery AND three (3) years of lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

Qualifications

Benefits

• Part-time, weekends (Saturday and Sundays)
• Work schedule: 8:00am to 4:00pm, 4:00pm to 12:00am, 12:00am to 8:00am (overnight)
• Up to 20% pay differential for working the overnight shift!
• Salary Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour without certification, $23.00 to $24.00 per hour once certified
