About the role
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. This position requires a strong background in peer support and a current CPRS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in recovery
- Facilitate support groups and workshops
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Evaluate client progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Engage in ongoing education and training related to recovery support services
Requirements
- Current CPRS certification
- Experience working with individuals in recovery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Passion for peer support and recovery
Qualifications

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
