Peer Mediation Sponsor (.5) FTE

Hampshire High School is seeking a highly motivated individual for a half-time Peer Mediation sponsor position.

Responsibilities

• Lead students for sustained participation and success.
• Maintain accurate records of supplies.
• Organize and oversee all areas of responsibility.
• Communicate with the Athletic Director to secure facilities and ensure a safe environment for students.
• Communicate and plan with other sponsors to ensure the well-being of student participants.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director for all scheduling and planning.
• Attend and supervise all meetings and events.
• Sponsor meetings and engage students in leadership development.
• Provide citizenship training.
• Offer students opportunities to participate in the organization and administration of special school activities.
• Serve as a liaison between the student body, school administration, and faculty.
• Act as a service organization benefiting the total school program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Requirements

• Experience sponsoring Peer Mediation/Mentoring at the high school level is preferred.
• Must be organized, flexible, and able to take direction from the direct supervisor.
• Able to work collaboratively with other activity sponsors.
• Engage in personal professional development activities.
