Job Summary

Assists College faculty and staff in a variety of student services areas. Provides assistance and encouragement to prospective and new students, and refers students to the appropriate College service area when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty and staff with student services tasks.
• Offer support and encouragement to prospective and newly enrolled students.
• Refer students to the appropriate College service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at an Alamo Colleges District college or another accredited institution of higher education.
• Some programs/positions may require an overall GPA of at least 2.75.

Schedule

• Hours per week: 19
• Typical work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with variations that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.

Compensation

• Hourly position (Staff S03 grade).
