Part‑time, temporary position (19 hours/week). Hourly; not eligible for benefits. Posting closes 8/30/2026 at 6:00 pm CST. Funding source: Hard Money. One opening. Location: VP Student and Admin Services, 1201 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78148. Work may include nights and weekends outside regular M‑F 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

About the role

Assists College faculty and staff in a variety of student services areas. Provides assistance and encouragement to prospective and new students. Refers students to the appropriate College service area when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty and staff across multiple student services functions.
• Offer support and encouragement to prospective and newly enrolled students.
• Direct students to the appropriate College service area as needed.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in at least six credit hours at an Alamo Colleges District college or another accredited institution of higher education.
• Some programs/positions may require a minimum overall GPA of 2.75.
