Part‑time, temporary position (2 openings) at Academic Success Tutoring Center, 1819 N Main Ave., Moody Learning Center, Suite 707, San Antonio, TX 78212. Hours: 15 hours per week. Job Summary and Description

Provide contextualized workshops that feature cross‑discipline content and tutoring for students in high‑risk courses.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Completion of at least 15 college credit hours with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at an institution of higher education, preferably one of the Alamo Colleges District’s colleges.
• Grade of “B” or better in the targeted or higher‑level course in the assigned subject.
• Earn at least two points from the education and/or experience tables below.

Education Points

• High school diploma or GED – 1 point
• 24+ college hours – 2 points
• 48+ college hours – 3 points
• 72+ college hours – 4 points
• 96+ college hours – 5 points
• Graduate‑level course (post‑baccalaureate) – 6 points

Experience Points

• Completion of targeted course – 1 point
• One semester at college level – 2 points
• Two semesters at college level – 3 points
• Three semesters at college level – 4 points
• Four semesters at college level – 5 points
• Five or more semesters at college level – 6 points

Preferred Education and Experience

• Completion of at least 15 college credit hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Schedule

Days and hours vary based on student needs. Typical availability may include Mondays‑Thursdays, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., and outside standard M‑F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. hours as required.
