Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the Mixer Machine and supplying good, quality product with the ability to meet deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities will include: assistance with creating SOP and other production related documentation, inventory data-entry and cross-training into other job functions as needed.

• Set-up, operate, troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to the Mixer machine following established procedures and guidelines with minimal supervision to mix/mold material.
• Conduct a visual inspection and perform general preventive maintenance of the mixer and press area
• Review order and verify all EPDM & formulas are correct/match
• Gather all necessary materials
• Read/review formula, weigh out materials and place in auger
• Pump oil & water as necessary per formula specifications
• Operate the Mixer control panel
• Wait required time for mixture to complete
• Pour mixture into mold
• Using chain crane, place lid on mold
• Using hydraulic press, press mold to proper length
• Operate (Mixer, Scale, Press, Mold Lift, Hoists, and Polymer System); Clean as per manufacture specification and SOP
• Adhere to and follow all quality guidelines. Continually check product for quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operate hoist, hydraulic press, bucket truck and fork truck to lift/transport raw materials and finished products while adhering to all power industrial equipment rules and safety requirements
• Maintain clean work environment by wiping down machine and cleaning work area with air hose after each
