PEDS Therapy Services Technician / PRN

Position Overview: The Therapy Services Technician assists licensed therapists (PT, OT, SLP) or assistants (PTA, OTA) with therapeutic interventions and nonclinical support tasks. Key Responsibilities: Supports patient care by helping with transportation to therapy sessions, performing essential support duties, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team. Does not provide direct patient care but plays a vital role in facilitating therapy services. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; one year of patient care experience is preferred. Must be CPR certified and capable of responding to emergencies. Excellent communication skills are essential. Experience in pediatric care or as a PCA in a pediatric environment is a plus. Additional Details: This is a PRN role offering flexible hours, typically 6-8 hours weekly or up to 30 hours based on availability.
