About the role
The successful candidate will be a board certified or board eligible pediatric neonatologist with experience in intensive care. This position will serve as the medical director for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical direction for the PICU, including clinical oversight and management of complex neonatal cases.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for neonatal patients.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of neonatal care practices.
- Conduct regular rounds and consultations with neonatal patients and families.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, residents, and fellows.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatology.
- At least 3 years of experience in neonatal intensive care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation and advanced life support techniques.
- Knowledge of neonatal pharmacology and pharmacokinetics.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage critically ill neonates.
- Experience with neonatal ECMO and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.

Pay
$128,370 - $131,830 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
