About the role
The successful candidate will join an established Pediatrics team at Carle Health in Mattoon, Illinois. This is a 100% outpatient position at a state-of-the-art Primary Care Clinic with a team-based care model. Services include lab, x-ray, women’s health, and convenient care, with a state-of-the-art Oncology Infusion Center nearby.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to patients in a clinic setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage a minimal call schedule due to low patient volume and a first-screen triage process
- Access to specialized pediatric subspecialty support for various conditions
- Work in a supportive, community-focused environment with easy access to larger metros and a strong sense of community
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Current Illinois Medical License
- Experience in a primary care setting preferred

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $295,000 - $330,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.

Minimal call requirement, supported by low patient volume and a first-screen triage process managed by a Patient Advisory Nurse.
