Pediatrics Physician

About the role

This is an outpatient-focused pediatric or internal medicine-pediatrician position with shared call responsibilities. The service area spans Southwest Virginia and Southeast Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a supportive environment
• Participate in shared call schedules for work-life balance
• Utilize state-of-the-art EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
• Current Virginia Medical License
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• At least 3 years of post-residency experience preferred
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) is beneficial
