Pediatrics - Gastroenterology

About the role

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join their team at Kaiser Santa Clara. Subspecialty expertise in areas such as inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, or motility is welcomed but not required for this general pediatric gastroenterology role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of pediatric gastrointestinal conditions
• Clinical responsibilities include in-person, video, and telephone visits at the Santa Clara Medical Center or satellite clinics
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, review of pH/impedance tracings and video capsule endoscopy

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology
• Current CA Medical License
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Pediatrics
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (preferred)
