About the Role

Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is seeking one full-time consulting Pediatrician, with or without a sub-specialty interest, to join a congenial group of pediatricians providing home-based on-call pediatric consultant services to the Maternity Unit. The unit handles over 1,000 low-risk deliveries annually. Pediatricians attend all c-section deliveries, deliveries anticipated to require neonatal resuscitation, and consult on post-natal concerns as needed. The hospital call rota is approximately 1 in 5.

The successful applicant will be expected to establish a consulting practice in the area. There may also be opportunities to participate in sub-specialty clinics within Fraser Health. Staff work closely with Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH) and Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) to ensure newborns requiring neonatal inpatient care can be transferred to an appropriate nursery.

Fraser Health is willing to sponsor eligible candidates. CPSBC US certified class of registration is acceptable.
