About the role
WVU Medicine – Summersville Regional Medical Center seeks a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join a hospital-employed practice in Summersville, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and document the health and development of children
- Diagnose and treat common ailments and minor injuries
- Referring to specialists for appropriate care
Qualifications
- An MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- To be eligible for a state medical license
- To have completed an accredited residency in General Pediatrics
- To be board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics
Practice Opportunity Details
Summersville Regional Medical Center is a critical access hospital. The pediatrician will practice in a traditional clinic and inpatient model.
