As an extension of The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital, this practice offers General Pediatricians the best of both worlds: a close-knit community setting with the resources, specialist network, and clinical reputation of our state-designated acute care children's hospital in New Brunswick.

The opportunity includes:

• A traditional outpatient pediatric practice caring for patients from newborn to 21 years of age
• A full-time opportunity, Monday–Friday with a few evenings and alternating half-day Saturdays
• 1:2 minimal call, supported by an after-hours pediatric call center
• Strong support from leadership and administration, collegial environment
• Engagement with Saint Peter's pediatric residency program, which combines an exceptional community-based, community-focused training experience in general pediatrics with a superb education in the pediatric subspecialties

Requirements

A Medical degree and the successful completion of an ACGME or AOA residency in Pediatrics

MD or DO licensed in the State of New Jersey

Board-Certified or eligible in Pediatrics

BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance

A caring and compassionate nature when working with children and their families

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System ranges from 175,000 - 750,000 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
