Responsibilities
- Set up and guide therapy sessions, ensuring children engage in exercises and activities.
- Support occupational therapists and assistants during sessions, providing encouragement and assistance.
- Help children complete ADLs such as dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Uplift and motivate patients, fostering their confidence and progress.
- Observe patient progress, assist with data collection, and communicate with therapists.
- Prepare and maintain therapy spaces, ensuring everything is ready for sessions.
- Work at the front desk, greeting patients, checking them in, and providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and managing cancellations to maintain smooth clinic operations.
- Answer calls and support the front desk in keeping the clinic running efficiently.
- Jump in wherever needed, supporting the team and maintaining clinic organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional coursework or experience in healthcare or child development preferred.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a career in pediatric therapy.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Eagle-eye attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a smile even in busy environments.
