Pediatric Surgery Physician
About the role
The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial is seeking two full-time pediatric surgeons to join their growing multispecialty pediatric practice in downtown Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric surgeries
- Utilize EMR systems: eClinicalWorks (outpatient) and Meditech (inpatient)
- Work closely with hospitalists, anesthesiologists, and intensivists
- Participate in 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalist services, 24/7 Pediatric Anesthesia coverage, and 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist coverage
- Paid AMA membership from Monday through Friday
- Rotate call schedule 1:2, rotating every 7 days
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in pediatric surgery
- 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred
Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

About The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial: 25-bed pediatric unit (private suites), 10-bed PICU, and 60-NICU Level III (including overflow). Currently functioning as a 101-bed facility with room to expand. HCA Healthcare’s Nashville network consists of five hospitals with NICUs and eleven EDs.
