The Division of Pediatric Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatric surgeon to join our growing academic pediatric surgical program at Stony Brook Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Stony Brook University Hospital is the region's premier academic and tertiary care medical center, serving more than 1.5 million residents of Suffolk County and the surrounding region. Stony Brook Children's Hospital opened its dedicated children's hospital in 2019 and provides comprehensive pediatric and surgical specialty care in a modern, family-centered environment. The hospital is the only ACS-verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Suffolk County and includes a 46-bed Level III NICU with approximately 1,000 admissions annually.
