Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Pediatrics
Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking to add a clinical track faculty physician to provide patient care and serve as a clinician educator. Home to a high-volume, nationally ranked pediatric cardiology program, Riley Children’s Health delivers the full continuum of cardiac care from fetuses and premature infants to adults with congenital heart disease. Achieving exceptional patient outcomes, the Riley Heart Center has experienced significant growth in recent years. In addition to offering specialists in every clinical area of cardiology, we are active in research to address unmet needs in pediatric cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and management of children with or concerning for heart disease
- Participation as one of our imaging faculty, including the interpretation of transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiograms plus cross-sectional imaging of cardiac MRI and/or cardiac CT
- Inpatient duties, weekend coverage, and overnight call shared amongst partners
- Collaborative efforts to identify additional strategic program involvement to expand cardiology services in communities across the state
- Teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students during clinical duties
Requirements
- Doctorate or terminal degree required
- Completion of pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship programs
- Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics & Pediatric Cardiology
