Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

About the role
The Family Partnership is hiring a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality evidence-based pediatric therapy services within the scope of Speech Language Pathology standards of practice.
Responsibilities
- Select, administer, score, interpret, and document appropriate standardized pediatric assessments.
- Document plans of care and daily progress in a timely and suitable manner in accordance with ASHA, DHS, and MDH guidelines.
- Manage and maintain physician orders to keep all clients current.
- Submit daily billing and progress notes through the EMR system.
- Consult and collaborate with inter-disciplinary staff and parents.
- Discharge clients when they exit the program or meet maximal therapeutic potential.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
- Graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program with a master’s degree or higher.
- At least 2 years of pediatric experience, or equivalent knowledge through alternative study or life experience.
- Comfortable working with at-risk clients, clients who have experienced trauma, clients from diverse cultures and ethnicities, and clients from non-English speaking households.
- Currently certified in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
- Membership with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and ability to meet TFP’s driving record requirements.
- If the license was not issued in Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).

Pay
$30.00 per hour.
Schedule
This is a regular, part-time position (30 hours per week), fully in-person. The candidate must be able to travel within sites during the workday.
