About the role

The Family Partnership is hiring a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality evidence-based pediatric therapy services within the scope of Speech Language Pathology standards of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Select, administer, score, interpret, and document appropriate standardized pediatric assessments.
  • Document plans of care and daily progress in a timely and suitable manner in accordance with ASHA, DHS, and MDH guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain physician orders to keep all clients current.
  • Submit daily billing and progress notes through the EMR system.
  • Consult and collaborate with inter-disciplinary staff and parents.
  • Discharge clients when they exit the program or meet maximal therapeutic potential.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
  • Graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program with a master’s degree or higher.
  • At least 2 years of pediatric experience, or equivalent knowledge through alternative study or life experience.
  • Comfortable working with at-risk clients, clients who have experienced trauma, clients from diverse cultures and ethnicities, and clients from non-English speaking households.
  • Currently certified in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Maintain membership with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and ability to meet TFP’s driving record requirements.
  • If the license was not issued in Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident to apply for a Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).

Pay

$30.00 - $30.00 / hourly
