Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

About the role

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) to join our growing Glendale clinic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children develop communication, language, feeding, and social interaction skills while working alongside a collaborative team of therapists.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions to support optimal outcomes
  • Educate and partner with parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational and physical therapists
  • Provide mentorship and supervision for students and SLPAs, when applicable

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • Valid CPR card or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • Interest or experience in early intervention and developmental disabilities
  • Passion for professional growth and continuing education
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with AAC is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required

Schedule

Consistent Weekly Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Saturday Pay Differential Available

Working Conditions

The role involves standing, walking, kneeling, lifting, and sitting throughout the day while providing direct patient care. The role requires working with children who have a variety of developmental, communication, sensory, physical, feeding, and behavioral needs in a fast-paced clinical environment.
