Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans to assist clients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning
- Perform evaluations and interpret assessment results to develop and administer speech therapy services
- Create and implement speech and language treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Coordinate care with referring physicians and other healthcare organizations
- Instruct clients, family/caregivers, and other healthcare personnel in treatment plans
- Identify client and family/caregiver needs for additional services and refer as necessary
- Prepare and submit documentation according to organizational policies
- Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology
Requirements
- A master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP)
- ASHA Certification or documentation of passing PRAXIS exam and completion of a Clinical Fellow/Externship
- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of Utah
- Active BLS certification
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in SLP (not required)
