About the Role

As an outpatient pediatric clinician, you will work with children from birth to age twenty-one. Our team is dedicated to treating young patients by providing individualized one-to-one attention and customized care plans. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions to carry skills and home exercises into the child's daily life. Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient pediatric speech-language pathology assistance under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Deliver individualized, one-on-one care to children from birth to age twenty-one.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create and implement customized treatment plans.
  • Engage parents and caregivers in sessions to ensure continuity of care at home.
  • Participate in mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must be fully licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in Virginia.
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certificate.
  • Current or pending licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant within the respective state.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
