About the role

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support multiple pediatric home care cases throughout Wayne, Pompton Plains, and Franklin Lakes, NJ. The position offers flexible scheduling, meaningful one‑on‑one care, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pediatric patients. Cases include a mix of weekend, overnight, and evening shifts, suitable for part‑time, full‑time, or supplemental hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the home setting
• Monitor and manage tracheostomy and ventilator support as ordered
• Administer and monitor G‑tube feedings
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and skilled nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and the pediatric clinical team

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Experience with trach, ventilator, and G‑tube care preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption

Pay

RN: Up to $45/hr

Schedule

• Wayne, NJ case: weekend 16‑hour coverage, with potential to transition to a full 16×7 schedule
• Pompton Plains, NJ case: overnight skilled nursing support, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts, approx 40 hours per week
• Franklin Lakes, NJ case: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evening coverage; Sunday 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM; includes transportation and care coordination assistance
