About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our team in Temple, Texas. Our medical center is unique due to the experience, professionalism, commitment to patient care, and multidisciplinary nature of our caregivers, along with the advanced diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities offered by McLane Children's.

Position Highlights

  • Light call volume
  • Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research, and quality improvement projects
  • Mainly outpatient focused, with some inpatient consultation
  • Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students
  • Appointment with Baylor College of Medicine-Temple, rank commensurate with experience

About McLane Children's Medical Center

Our five-story McLane Children’s Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children’s Hospital. The hospital features 112 patient beds, including 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms, a 24-hour level II pediatric emergency department, and a verified trauma center. A level IV, 48-bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified in specialty or eligible for certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
