About the role

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine seeks a Pediatric Rheumatologist. This clinician will provide care to children with rheumatologic, autoimmune, and auto-inflammatory disorders, and will also participate in shared rheumatology consultations on the inpatient service. The clinical focus will be in the ambulatory setting, and may include supervising advanced practice providers and nursing staff. Clinical activities will be conducted at Primary Children's Hospital's ambulatory and inpatient sites, and at University of Utah clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care to children with rheumatologic, autoimmune, and auto-inflammatory disorders
  • Participate in shared rheumatology consultation on the inpatient service
  • Engage in investigation/research and scholarly activities, with an expectation of obtaining grant funding to support salary
  • Contribute to academic work including education, administration/service, and advocacy

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Rheumatology

Qualifications

The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
