Pediatric Radiologist
About the role
The University of Illinois College of Medicine/University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System Department of Radiology seeks candidates for an open-rank faculty position in Pediatric Radiologist to meet the needs of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Participation in direct patient care
- Involvement in the formal education of trainees
- Supervision of residents and medical students
- Provide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x-ray, ultrasound, CT, etc. imaging in a timely manner
- Communicate the results and diagnosis to physician
- Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician orders
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and possess a medical license
- Qualified applicants must also be certified (or eligible if a recent graduate) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- This position requires successful fellowship training in pediatric radiology or equivalent

The Budgeted Salary for this Position: $533,000 - $615,000
