Pediatric Pulmonologists
About the Role
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine are seeking pediatric pulmonologists to join the Division of Pulmonology Medicine. The successful candidates will be integral members of a growing team comprising 28 pulmonologists, 16 advanced practice providers, and 14 PhDs. The division focuses on cystic fibrosis, asthma, and other airway diseases, while also treating medically complex children from birth through 21 years of age, including those with craniofacial abnormalities and genetic syndromes.
Clinical services are diverse and include specialties in pulmonary hypertension, aerodigestive disorders, sleep medicine, pulmonary sickle cell disease, technology-dependent children, severe asthma, and cystic fibrosis.
Employment will be through the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute, an affiliation between Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta dedicated to improving pediatric care, research, and education. This role requires in-person work at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for pediatric patients with pulmonary conditions, including complex cases.
- Engage in teaching, quality improvement, and research activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pulmonologists, advanced practice providers, and PhD researchers.
- Participate in the academic missions of clinical care, research, and education.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited four-year medical school.
- Completion of an accredited postgraduate residency program in Pediatrics.
- Completion of an accredited postgraduate fellowship program in Pulmonology.
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology or Med/Peds.
- Licensed in the state of Georgia, with current DEA registration, BLS, and PALS certification.
